The new Precision Baiting Machine for the Autoline Coastal System is based on the well known technical principles of the Mark 3.   The Coastal Baiting Machine has a compact design, requires little space, and works on Mustad’s reliable and patented baiting system – Mustad RotoBaiter.   The machine baits Circle Hooks and EZ Baiter Hooks ranging from size 12/0 to 15/0.   Operated by one person and baiting up to 180 hooks/minute, the Autoline Coastal Baiting Machine is made of stainless steel.

Operational Function

The whole bait-fish is placed on a conveyor chain which feeds the bait into the machine. When the hooks are pulled through the machine they trigger the knife – the bait piece is cut – and the hook is then baited.
